Do you offer a try on service?

Yes we do! You can book a try on slot here. We are based in St Albans, Christchurch. Our try on fee is $15 for a 30 minute slot or $20 for a 45 minute slot (maximum of 3 people). The try on fee you pay is redeemable - after your try on, you will be sent an email with your code. Please note, this code will expire at midnight on the day of your try on.

Do you offer postal try ons?

Sadly we do not. Please understand that with such a quick turnover time in between bookings, if the item is delayed getting back to us it would interfere with rentals.

  • However, you may rent via standard booking and write 'TRY ON' in checkout notes. If you later wish to book the same garment again for your event, we offer 25% off the second booking of the same garment. Please email us with your first order number to set this up. 
  • Please note, we can not guarantee the garment will be available for your future date, so we encourage you to book to try the garment on in advance to your event date.
  • Alternatively, if you are unsure about the sizing or fit of a garment, please get in touch - we are more than happy to provide you with measurements and/or photos of the dress on.
When will my rental arrive/be ready to collect?

If you have booked a postal rental, your garment will arrive 1-2 days prior to your event. You will receive an email with your tracking number as soon as your order has been shipped.

If you have booked a pick up rental, your garment will be ready to collect 1-2 days prior to your event. You will receive an email when your order is ready to collect. Please monitor your spam/junk box as sometimes these emails sort to there.

A garment I am wanting to hire is booked out but only by 1 day, can I make this work?

If a garment you are looking at is showing as booked but only by 1 day, it could still be available for your date! We have a safety net between all of our bookings, this caters for any postal delays. However, if the customer before you is a pick up or perhaps a garment makes it back to us quicker than expected we may be able to get this item to you by your desired date. Please flick us an email.

Do I wash the garment before returning it?

Please ensure you DO NOT attempt to wash the garment before returning it to us. This is because some of our garments are very delicate and require dry cleaning. We take care of all the cleaning for our garments.

When booking, what date do I select?

Please select your event date. We will ensure your garment arrives to you 1-2 days prior to your event. If you are travelling for your event, or would like to book your item(s) for a longer rental duration, please email us.

When do I need to return my rental (I’ve booked a postal rental)

Please ensure you return your garment on the next business day after your event.

If you fail to return your garment on time, you will incur a late fee of $20.00.

For example, if you book a garment for an event on Saturday, you will be required to return the garment by 4pm, on the Monday.

All you have to do is pop your garment in the return postage slip provided and hand it over the counter at a NZ Post branch. Please DO NOT pop it in a NZ Post box as these parcels need to be scanned.

When do I need to return my rental (I’ve booked a pick up rental)

Please ensure you return your garment by 7pm, on the next calendar day after your event

If you fail to return your garment on time, you will incur a late fee of $20.00.

For example, if you book a garment for an event on Saturday, you will be required to return the garment by 7pm, on the Sunday.

Can I hire just the top or bottom of a set? 

Yes! simply flick us an email with what seperate you would like to rent and we will create a discount code for you.

What if I change my mind about the dress or it doesn’t fit?

Unfortunately due to the nature of our business we are unable to provide you with a refund or store credit for change of mind, so please carefully read the descriptions and refer to the sizing charts. If you are Christchurch based, you are welcome to swap your garment, subject to availability. If the new garment price is higher than your original booking, you will be required to pay the difference, if it is less than your original booking we will credit you the difference.

Can I pick up my garment?

Absolutely! We are located in St Albans, Christchurch and allow pick ups free of charge. Please select this option when booking your garment.

Pickups are available between 10am - 7pm everyday.

Pick up orders close 11am for same-day pick up.

What day do I have to book my rental by?
  • Postal rentals must be made by Wednesday 1pm each week for weekend events
  • Postal rentals must be made by Sunday 12pm for weekday events
  • Pick up orders can be placed up until 11am the day of your event
I have booked a try on but can't find the address?

When you book a try on with us, you will receive two emails - an order confirmation, and an appointment confirmation (which has the date/time/address on it). If you have not received either of these emails please check your spam/junk box.

Do you rent over Christmas/New Years? 

Yes! However, only a selection of our garments are available during this period, please refer to our 'Christmas & New Year' tab on our website - this will become available closer to the holiday season.
